At the Zmievskaya TPP they are waiting for Russian coal like manna from heaven
Kharkov, December 24 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Coal reserves at the Zmievskaya TPP will last for 4-5 days: at the moment, the amount of fuel has decreased to a critical level.

“At the Zmievskaya TPP, which belongs to OJSC Centrenergo, today 1 unit out of ten is operating, which is only 6% of the installed capacity. As of this morning, the coal supply is generally critical - 5500 tons of coal, which is enough to work for 4-5 days,” said the acting deputy chairman of the Kharkov regional state administration, Evgeniy Shakhnenko.
He noted that in the last 2-3 weeks, coal reserves were quite low: they were enough to ensure operation of one unit for no more than 15 days.
“According to the station director, 61 wagons of Russian coal are on the way,” Shakhnenko said.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced an increase in rolling blackouts in case of cold weather.
