Kyiv, October 02 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The National Bank of Ukraine promises to hold auctions for the sale of currency at a fixed rate weekly to ensure, among other things, the opportunity to purchase $200 per day for everyone.

“The issue of countering unreasonable exchange rate fluctuations remains relevant. However, the National Bank has enough funds to balance the balance of payments and the foreign exchange market. The situation in the country, although difficult, is controllable. It is expected that in the near future auctions for the sale of currency will be held every Thursday,” the NBU said in a statement.
“The regulator expects that every individual who wants to buy cash foreign currency in the equivalent of up to 3 thousand UAH ($200) per day will be able to do this,” the press service quotes the words of the head of the NBU, Valeria Gontareva.
