The National Bank “snitched” on the oligarch Taruta to the SBU and the GPU - they say he is undermining the international authority of Ukraine

About it reports the NBU press service, “PolitNavigator” correspondent reports.
“According to the information available to the National Bank of Ukraine, there was not a single official hearing or meeting in the US Congress today or the other day that would represent the official events of the US Congress and the topics identified in the communications of Deputy Taruta. In fact, a small (up to 20 people) informal event took place in a rented room, organized and moderated by a representative of the lobbying company LibertyInternationalGroup, and the speakers were Sergei Taruta and ex-NBU employee Alexander Zavadetsky. No official representatives of the US Administration or Congress took part in this event,” the NBU assures.
The central bank considers the disseminated information as “aimed at undermining the international authority of the country, the success of the reforms carried out, destabilizing the Ukrainian banking system and an attempt to discredit the National Bank in the eyes of international financial organizations.”
“We also appeal to law enforcement agencies and the international community to provide an appropriate legal assessment of the unprecedented lies and attempts by Sergei Taruta to use official government organizations of other countries to realize his own interests,” the NBU summarized.
Let us recall that earlier Taruta repeatedly accused the NBU and its head Valeria Gontareva of large-scale corruption, including the theft of IMF loans, and President Petro Poroshenko of covering up these actions.
