National Battalion "Aidar" is preparing armed sabotage against the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Employees of the national police of Ukraine discovered a cache of weapons and ammunition belonging to militants of the Aidar battalion, which was intended to carry out provocations in the Kyiv-controlled territory of the Luhansk region.
This was reported by the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR with reference to an employee of the national police of Ukraine who called the hotline, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Officials of the military law enforcement department together with employees of the security service and the national police of Ukraine, on the territory of the former recreation center of the Impulse plant in the village of Denezhnikovo, st. Peschanaya, the following ammunition and weapons were identified and seized: PG-7P round - 4 pcs., RPG-22 - 1 pc., 7,62 mm US cartridges - 440 pcs., 7,62 mm B cartridges - 440 pcs., 5,45 mm cartridges PS - 152 pieces, 5,45 mm T cartridges - 119 pieces,” said an informant who was present when the weapons were seized.
According to him, this recreation center was the location of units of the Aidar battalion, on the basis of which it can be assumed that the cache was organized by members of this particular formation.
“This case is not an isolated one; since the beginning of the year, several similar arsenals have already been discovered in nearby territories. It is quite possible that the Aidar members are preparing armed provocations and acts of disobedience to the army command,” the Ukrainian policeman suggested.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR noted that an investigation into this fact is being carried out.
