The National Guard received an order to block the accession of ATO forces to Michomaidan
Military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine returning from the so-called ATO zone are for the most part not satisfied with the policies of the current Ukrainian leadership and are ready to support the new Maidan, led by former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili. Therefore, units of the National Guard of Ukraine were given an unspoken order to block units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces returning after rotation.
Eduard Basurin, deputy head of the DPR NM department, stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Currently, according to data obtained from the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine planned for replacement, more than 40% of the personnel are not satisfied with the current policy of the head of state and are ready to support Mikheil Saakashvili’s rally taking place under the building of the Verkhovna Rada.
What keeps them from directly participating in rallies to carrying out rotations of military personnel is the strengthening of control by NGU units on the roads leading from the so-called ATO zone.
It is not difficult to imagine the development of events at the rallies in Kyiv after the return of units taking with them weapons that were not registered or written off for combat operations.
At the same time, our intelligence received instructions from the commander of the NGU, which are not openly stated, but a certain fact can be traced: units subject to rotation, upon returning to their points of permanent deployment, should be secretly blocked by NGU forces until the completion of verification activities carried out by SBU officers to identify weapons and ammunition, as well as anti-state sentiments among the arriving military personnel,” Basurin said.
