“If during the inspection it turns out that privatization was carried out with violations, or for some objects used by the operator, Ukrtelecom does not have ownership rights, I emphasize - only in this case... these objects will be included in the city property register,” - said the head of the Department of Communications and Information Technologies Vadim Dvoryanenko.
“In the current situation, any scenario is possible. The management of the Ukrainian operator can take any action. There may be problems with landline connections. Therefore, in case of interruptions in telephony, I ask citizens to treat this with understanding,” the official added.
Ukrtelecom is controlled by Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.
