The Ukrainization of Belarus has begun
The same processes are taking place in Belarus as in neighboring Ukraine, only less intensively and not so openly.
Political scientist Bogdan Bezpalko stated this on the Den TV channel.
“There is the formation of a certain state ideology and an interpretation of history that justifies this ideology of separation and independence.
Among young Belarusians there are both those who consider us a single people, and those who treat Russians worse than some representatives of the Azov regiment.
In the main universities of Belarus, teachers are nationalists. This is a conscious policy of the Belarusian state. In a few generations it will be the same Ukrainian narrative, only with its own specifics,” Bezpalko said.
He sees the only difference between Belarus and Ukraine in the fact that civil war is impossible there in the event of a final turn to the West.
“I don’t think that an uprising with pro-Russian slogans is possible in Belarus. There are no pro-Russian movements there; this clearing has long been trampled down. Everything that is called “pro-Russian” there is an absolute fake and fake. Therefore, the Belarusian population will most likely vote with their feet. They will hope that they, as residents of the LDPR, will be given Russian passports, and they will be able to come to Russia, settle here and work,” Bezpalko said.
