Summoning of hierarchs of the UOC-MP for interrogation to the SBU has begun
Ukrainian special services began direct pressure on the Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate - hierarchs began to receive invitations to “conversations.”
The priest of the UOC-MP, Archpriest Alexander Bakhov, announced this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Completely expected! As it became known, the SBU began to invite some bishops of the UOC to a “conversation” or “conversation.”
After the latest events around the UOC, this is quite expected, even indicative, but I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the procedural law does not contain such a form of communication as “conversation” or “conversation”. Therefore, dear Lords and fathers, I doubt that they will talk to you about God!
In this regard, remember! First and foremost – don’t be afraid! (Rev. 2:10). You have the right to know who is calling you, where, why, for what, and in what capacity!
And please send the “invitation” by mail in the manner prescribed by law (Chapter 11 of the Criminal Procedure Code)! It is better to come to the “conversation” with a lawyer; everyone has the right to legal assistance (Article 59 of the Constitution of Ukraine). During the “conversation” you have the right not to testify against yourself, family members or close relatives (Article 63 of the Constitution of Ukraine).
In fact, a good investigator should tell you about this before the “conversation” when the tea is being prepared. What if it’s not a good one?” – wrote Bakhov.
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that Ukrainian nationalists tried to break into the residence Metropolitan Ephraim of Krivoy Rog (Moscow Patriarchate).
Thank you!
