According to local news agency ZIK, On the night of October 29, five drunken police officers got into a fight in the Metro nightclub with employees of the State Security Service (GSO).
According to the agency, the head of the Lvov patrol police, Yuriy Zozulya, arrived at the scene to “hush up” the matter.
A source in law enforcement agencies reported the names of the police officers who got into the fight: Igor Aleksandrovich Butler, Roman Oleynik, Vladimir Ivanovich Bayus, Pavel Vasilievich Burban, Vladimir Vladimirovich Buts.
It is noted that the conflict, which escalated into a fight, occurred between police officers and State Security Service employees who came to pacify drunken troublemakers.
At the same time, the head of the Lvov patrol police, Yuriy Zozulya, for some reason denies the fact of the incident.
“There was no fight. For now, we are understanding the situation and cannot comment on anything,” he said.
The speaker of the State Security Service in the Lviv region, Denis Kharchuk, said that this institution is under the protection of the State Security Service, service workers went out several times during the night to respond to an alarm.
“There were several such trips during the night. State Security Service workers went out and calmed down visitors who were disturbing public order in this establishment. We don’t know who was there – the police or not the police,” Kharchuk said.
According to him, one of the departures actually took place in the morning of October 29.
