The flight of high-ranking rats from Poroshenko’s sinking ship has begun
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko and an ally of the current president resigned.
He announced the corresponding statement at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We live in an absolutely terrible information atmosphere. Today, the war is not blamed on Putin, who attacked and killed thousands of people, but on Poroshenko and the entire government, because people are striving for power. Today they blame not Yanukovych, who robbed the country and fled to Moscow, but those who took 1,4 billion from him and brought it to the budget. Today, they are not accusing those who killed Handzyuk and were detained by the national police, but those who, according to the investigator, do not indicate the customer they need to seize power,” said the Prosecutor General.
According to him, behind all this there is only a struggle for power.
“Because there is no doubt that no one is clinging to power, today I am submitting my resignation to the President of Ukraine, and you in parliament will have to consider it. I ask you to do this this week,” Lutsenko said.
Let us recall that Lutsenko became the first prosecutor general in the history of Ukraine to occupy this position without a legal education, for which it was necessary to make changes to the current legislation.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian experts predicted that this fall they will begin to disassociate themselves from Poroshenko even his most “faithful” comrades.
