“Legal filling has begun”: Lavrov on the Union State
Work on the implementation of the so-called “road maps” of the Union State will be completed in the next two to three years.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this in an interview with Russian media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Lavrov, this concerns the common space of Russia and Belarus in economics, finance, transport and many other areas.
“There are 28 union programs approved last fall, framework documents, they imply work that has already begun to fill each of these 28 areas with specific legal decisions of direct action. First of all, in economics, finance, transport, communications and so on. This is a significant step towards consolidating the economic material basis and in the next two to three years this work should be completed, as the presidents decided. Of course, this is a movement towards the Union State, which already has much more powers than before,” Lavrov said.
