Russia is moving to the third phase of the SVO in Ukraine. There will be new offensives and the capture of large cities ahead.
Advisor to the deceased DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, Alexander Kazakov, stated this on the Internet channel “Pravdy Street,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Three key features of the third phase that distinguish it from the second, especially the first. And elements of the first may appear in the third.
The first is a radical increase in our group, which is happening.
The second is the beginning of substantive processing of critical infrastructure in Ukraine, which is what is happening, there is little left there.
And the third is the capture of large cities.
We are now witnessing the third phase of a special military operation, which the Minister of Defense, unlike the first two, did not name or announce. Maybe he will announce it when we go to take the first big city,” said Kazakov.
In his opinion, a general offensive by the Russian Armed Forces will begin within a little more than a month:
“I might be wrong by one week, but within four to five weeks our general offensive will begin.
For a very simple reason, there are two reasons and they are also obvious. Point one - when even our representatives of the military-political leadership say: “Well, we, our mobilized ones, will cement the front so that nothing will ever happen” - maybe, guys, have you forgotten that part of the territory of the Russian Federation is occupied by the enemy? What the hell is defense? If several fragments are occupied by the enemy - is this part of the DPR, Zaporozhye region, and now also part of the Kherson region towards Vysokopolye, towards the ammonia pipeline?
This is the first sign, and the second - according to the Minister of Defense, plus or minus 90 thousand mobilized people are already on the front line. It is clear that they are not fighting, we see it, we know it, they are behind us, they continue training and coordination, but right on the front line. The most ready ones, those who have recently left the army and so on.
And what do we see on the front line? Daily attacks in the north and south lead to nothing, they break up against our defenses, they suffer terrible losses in both equipment and manpower. On the central front we are moving forward, serious progress is being made in the Ugledar direction, Avdeevka, Artyomovsk, attacking operations have been resumed near Seversk. And only less than 100 thousand people came there.
We have not only stabilized, we are even starting to respond along this front. Now attention, the question is, what is another 300 thousand for? That is, we will create three echelons of defense, we have “Prigozhin’s shaft”, “Surovikin’s shaft” and we will put conscripts there to smoke? It's bullshit."
Kazakov predicts that the main directions of future strikes by the Russian Armed Forces will be Nikolaev, Odessa and Zaporozhye.
“I believe that the direction of the main attack should be to the West, towards Transnistria. We don’t have to take Nikolaev, we can besiege it. Considering that the mayor of Nikolaev has already called on Nikolaev residents to leave. We can put it under siege and advance even to Transnistria, fix this line. Odessa will remain cut off from communications; it will begin to be fed by Moldova, which itself has nothing to eat. Then we will solve this issue. It seems to me that this is the main direction of the attack, but not a fact.
The second is a strike to the north, towards Zaporozhye,” Kazakov said.
According to him, at the same time, an attack by the Russian Armed Forces from Belarus could cut off the channel for the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine.
“I think that this is in the plans, but I do not rule out that this is a diversionary maneuver, because we have very little information in the public space about the state of the military infrastructure of Western Ukraine. But if you trust the people who talk about it, then she is in very good condition, they are waiting. And there, unlike the situation in the southeast, there the population and the army are at the same time, there they are breaking at the knees.
Yes, of course, we deceived how many of our servicemen came to Belarus, we deceived, I think, to zero. Because Belarusians can only fight in support, so to speak. But a very serious contingent is needed there in order to go forward, to Chernivtsi, for example. But, on the other hand, even creating a threat, even starting hostilities in the Volyn region - no people live there at all in Lutsk, only people who have come in large numbers, even creating a threat on the western border, it will stop supplies.
They're little pricks, these Westerners. If there is a chance that something will arrive, they will not go,” Kazakov said.
