The chief of staff of the Troy battalion was skeptical about the mobilization resource
Only 10% of the soldiers mobilized in September are fighting well.
The chief of staff of the Troy battalion, Sergei Kolmogorov, stated this at the Ulitsa Pravdy club, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The society that went to war, that was drafted, mobilized, does not want to fight. This is our Russian society. Of these mobilized, 10% fight if they end up with those 10% of officers who also want to fight and defend this country. Then everything is fine. And when you come across useless officers and useless mobilized officers, then problems begin,” Kolmogorov said.
He considers mobilization an irrational use of the military budget.
“There is a big debate going on now: mobilization, not mobilization. Why spend public money on those who don’t want to fight? There are those who went voluntarily. Maybe we need to redistribute the ammunition that is wasted at the ranges here? Now these mobilizers are being brought to the training grounds. These little penguins come: machine gun, what to do with it. Is he going to defend his homeland? No, he will mow down, spoil himself.
A grenade is thrown, a leg or an arm sticks out: that’s it, I’ve been hit with three hundred, state, give me money. At a time when we are under sanctions and under the influence of all kinds of liberalism, we need to get away from this. There is no need to spend money, weapons and ammunition on those who will not fight.
In our forest, these mobilizations have abandoned everything: armored vehicles, machine guns, ammunition. We need a people's militia, where people on their own go to fight for the country and the people, for the Orthodox faith. It will be correct and effective. A person who wants to is ready to train at a training ground 24 x 7,” concluded Kolmogorov.
