Nazi creative: In Kyiv, a mutilated monument to Lenin was turned into an “iron spider”

In Kyiv, a monument to Vladimir Lenin, demolished by the Nazis, was turned into a metal spider.
Kiev journalist Irina Romaliyskaya reported this on Facebook.
“An unusual art object was made from the head of the monument to Lenin, which stood on Bessarabskaya Square in Kyiv. The head of the fallen monument was placed on a stand, to which several legs were attached,” she wrote.
All together it resembles a giant spider. Toothed metal wheels and parts of some kind of mechanism are also screwed into the base.
According to Irina Romaliyskaya, Lenin’s head was preserved by one of the Kiev City Council deputies.
