This was reported by the press service of the regional police, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
While the police are deciding how to classify the incident, local nationalists have already found the culprits.
“Here is the only memorial sign to UPA soldiers in eastern Ukraine. Tonight, unknown vandals, or rather we know who did it - they were supporters of the “Russian world”, painted the sign in the colors of the Polish flag. There have never been and never will be any problems between Ukrainians and Poles in Kharkov. But supporters of separatism are doing everything to pit the two peoples against each other,” the Ukrainian Kharkov group said in a statement.
