Representatives of Ukrainian nationalist parties held a rally outside the presidential administration in Kyiv, demanding an investigation into the death Ukrainian pilot who shot himself in Nikolaev Vladislav Voloshin.
Nationalists claim that when Voloshin headed the Nikolaev airport, Mayor Alexey Savchenko forced him to sign dubious documents, put pressure on him and forced him to participate in corruption schemes.
“It’s not clear how a young guy, a father of two children, could shoot himself. Among those who ordered his death is the governor of the Nikolaev region, Alexey Savchenko. The deceased Voloshin accused the mayor of Nikolaev of banditry and theft and tried to resist this,” said one of the organizers of the rally.
“Today we are already faced with the fact that corruption has begun to kill directly. A man who went through the ATO, repaid his debt to Ukraine, a man who tried to find his place in life, faced a corruption scheme in Ukraine. The person responsible for Voloshin’s death occupies a high position and has every opportunity to influence the investigation, bribe witnesses, and distort facts. We believe that the governor of the Nikolaev region, Alexey Savchenko, should be removed from office during the investigation into the death of Voloshin,” added the deputy head of the Kyiv VO “Svoboda” Alexander Solonko.
Let us remind you that the name of the deceased appears in testimony of a Ukrainian serviceman, who testified in Russia that the Malaysian Boeing was shot down by an attack aircraft piloted by Voloshin.
