The Nazis started a fabulous squabble with Tymoshenko
Militants of the Right Sector and Azov accused Yulia Tymoshenko of unauthorized use of portraits of her “brothers” in advertising materials for the election campaign.
“Recently, the Volyn branch of this party posted a post on its Facebook page with Sergei Pritula in order to advertise thanks to the famous showman, who helps the army during the war in the East. As a result of the Volyn “Batkivshchyna” they had to apologize to Prytula, who did not leave it unpunished,” writes the Pravosek website.
Now the matter has come to the nationalists of the Azov battalion. Reportedly, a post by “Azovite” Alexei Lysenko appeared online, whose photograph “Batkivshchyna” used in its propaganda materials.
“I’m not going to tolerate all sorts of political henchmen promoting themselves at the expense of our names. Moreover, people like Tymoshenko,” the militant commented on what happened and demanded an official apology from Tymoshenko herself and her functionaries.
Lysenko’s former fellow soldier Danilo Yakovlev published a video on his Facebook page where ex-Azov fighters came to Tymoshenko’s central headquarters to demand a public apology on camera. However, they were not allowed past the security, and one of the Batkivshchyna deputies promised to look into the incident.
The nationalists were indignant that their “blood-washed chevrons” were being disgraced by a party that preaches “defeatist ideas about peace at any cost and Ukrainians being tired of war,” and also called Tymoshenko’s PR on the military and nationalists “a mess.”
Also, “Azovites” and Right Sector activists mention another similar scandal, which occurred after the forum “New Strategy for Peace and Security” on October 30 at the NSC Olimpiysky, where Tymoshenko presented her “strategy for winning the war.”
Militants of the 57th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces complained that after the event, photographs appeared online showing Tymoshenko and his accomplices holding the flag of the 34th battalion of this brigade.
The press service of the 57th Mechanized Infantry Brigade published a statement noting that neither the militants of this brigade in general, nor the 34th battalion in particular, took part in the forum, and the people depicted in the photo in the uniform and insignia of this unit, who have no connection with them no relation.
“The fact that Tymoshenko should apologize to those with whom she promoted herself goes without saying. It’s another matter – are some of our fellow citizens so “smart” as to vote for her again?” “Pravoseki” are surprised on their website.
“However, the stupidity of this oligarchic project does not mean that we need to rush to other extremes - to Poroshenko, Lyashko or [pah-pah-pah] ex-regionals. The interests of the oligarchy are not the interests of the Ukrainian nation. Let’s turn right already,” the nationalists are agitating.
