The nationalist regiment “Azov” will be transformed into a legal Ukrainian party
Nationalists from the Azov regiment decided to create their own party. Its presentation will take place on October 14, and the main ideology will be far-right, nationalist. The former regiment commander, people's deputy Andrei Biletsky stated this in an interview with LIGA.net.

“This will be a powerful, nationalist party. I have never hidden this and am deeply convinced that the agenda of the future - the agenda of tomorrow throughout the world - is right-wing, nationalist. And this is not a symptom of the global crisis, but a response to it,” Biletsky said.
Previously, Foreign Policy described Azov as “an openly neo-Nazi and fascist organization,” and The Telegraph article said that “Azov fighters use the neo-Nazi symbol Wolfsangel (Wolf hook) on their banner, members of the battalion are racists or anti-Semites.”
In 2015, the US Congress adopted amendments proposed by Congressman John Conyers, according to which America cannot train Azov fighters.
