Mariupol, May 25 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – As a result of a special operation in Mariupol, the brother of the “people’s mayor” Denis Kuzmenko was detained.

The press secretary of the Social-National Assembly, Igor Mosiychuk, announced this on his Facebook page.

“Good news from Mariupol. As a result of the special operation, the leader of local separatists and brother of the self-proclaimed mayor of Mariupol, Denis Kuzmenko, was detained with a slight wound. During the arrest, a militant of the DPR terrorist organization was killed. There were no casualties on the part of the participants in the anti-terrorist operation. Now Kuzmenko is being transported to Kyiv,” Mosiychuk wrote.

“He was handed over by a member of the Oplot organization, Viktor Koleyanov,” he added.

According to unofficial information, the Azov battalion took part in the arrest.
