The nationalization of Kolomoisky's bank was explained by the consequences of Trump's victory

This opinion was expressed on his Facebook page by member of the Ukrainian parliament from the BPP Sergei Leshchenko, commenting on the decision to nationalize one of Kolomoisky’s main assets.
“I personally think that the nationalization of Privatbank is a consequence of Trump’s victory in the United States. I'll explain why. Because the arrival of Trump means that no one will give money to Ukraine anymore for beautiful promises and kleptocratic tears about the “ideals of the Maidan.” And there will no longer be Biden calling Poroshenko for weeks, persuading him to fire Shokin or introduce electronic declarations. Starting in January, everything will be very pragmatic. And the IMF program will continue only in exchange for strictfulfillment of their requirements. Where the main point for six months has been the nationalization of Privatbank,” believes Leshchenko.
“In the end, Kolomoisky could have fooled around, pulling money from the market for his companies, but the shop closed on its own. Which means it’s time for him to get rid of his headache. And, as always, he solved his problem at public expense. And in the USA he could sit down, like some on Wall Street. Therefore, do not grieve for Privatbank - grieve for the injured depositors of dozens of other banks, whose owners did not have 1+1 to blackmail the weak, corrupt leadership of the country,” the deputy sums up.
