According to him, the new Ukrainian army still uses Soviet military regulations.
“We are still using the Soviet charter, and the so-called “new Ukrainian army” cannot develop its own charter. It cannot format itself for a new enemy, it cannot format itself for new rules of warfare,” he noted.
“Combat sergeants are now worth their weight in gold in combat units. Because, for example, those officers who are now signing the contract, they have no combat knowledge, they have not heard the mine whistling overhead. Perhaps they did not even carry out wounded or killed soldiers. That is, the main backbone of almost all combat units is the sergeant, who, in principle, holds this bunch of good guys in his fist and, in accordance with all regulations, carries out the orders of the company commander,” Rimaruk laments.
