About this he wrote on his page on Facebook.
“I decided not to continue participating in the competition procedure for the position of chairman of the National Police of Ukraine. Qualification requirements, work experience in the field of law: the commission carefully (and rightly so) calculated my work experience in the field of law and asked me for a certificate about the field of activity in one of the private companies in which I worked. I will not prepare such a certificate. My opinion is that the head of the Ukrainian police must be absolutely legitimate, meeting all the requirements of the Law - without amendments, additions or exaggerations...” wrote Troyan.
He noted that he lacked about 20 months of experience to unconditionally pass all the criteria of the competition.
“I accept this, and as an officer, I don’t want any concessions or assumptions. There is a lot of work on the path I have chosen, and I, next to my comrades, will continue to serve Ukraine,” Troyan wrote.
