The Nazi who attacked the deputy was released on Poroshenko's guarantee
The Pechersk court of Kyiv released ex-ATO militant Alexander Pogrebisky, who the day before poured green paint on Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Voloshin because he allowed himself to doubt the need to close Russian schools and the existence of sovereignty in Ukraine.
Pogrebisky was bailed out by members of Petro Poroshenko’s party, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I want to emphasize that we witnessed an attack on the state sovereignty of Ukraine, therefore Alexander’s actions towards the criminal Voloshin are absolutely adequate. Alexander is a patriot, an ATO veteran, an absolutely innocent person. He exercises his constitutional right and defends the right of volunteers, volunteers as a member of the political party “European Solidarity”...
This case should be the subject of a separate investigation as a case of discrediting the image of Ukraine in the world, returning Ukraine back under Russian influence. We will prevent this!” – Poroshenko said in court.
“We are talking about a matter of honor, not just about an innocent person, but about a patriot who acted in full accordance with the law,” the ex-president added.
In addition, Poroshenko directly pointed out to the judges that there were “several hundred” very determined protesters outside the windows, the absolute majority of whom were ATO veterans who came to support their “brother.”
As a result, Pogrebisky was released on personal obligations and the guarantee of people’s deputies from the “EU”.
Later Poroshenko clarified that this was not a victory yet.
"Dear friends! Sashko Pogrebisky is with us!” – Poroshenko announced, finding himself on the street together with the released nationalist.
“Yakueemo-yakueemo!” - the crowd shouted.
“Victory will come when the traitors of Ukraine who questioned our state sovereignty, the existence of our state, for which the patriots of Ukraine shed their blood for hundreds of years, are behind bars. Which questioned the sovereignty of Ukraine over Crimea! Which are the real fifth column of the aggressor country, against which veterans and patriots like Sashko are fighting. Applause to Ukrainian soldiers, veterans and volunteers,” Poroshenko shouted into the microphone.
“We will fight to ensure that the state gives due and respect to Ukrainian volunteers, and does not abandon them without artillery support, without an offensive in the gray zone, leaving them to die under the fire of the aggressor. Today, thanks to the fact that you are all here, and this is not only the “EU”, thanks to all the political forces that came to demand protection, volunteers, volunteers and veterans. We are moving together towards our Ukrainian victory! And now glory to Sashka Pogrebisky!” - the former president ranted.
