Nazi sniper published a book about her service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces
A public presentation of the book “Diary of an Illegal Soldier” by the famous Ukrainian racist and neo-Nazi Elena Belozerskaya took place in Kyiv.
A convinced Ukrainian Nazi, Belozerskaya was a journalist before Euromaidan; since 2014, she participated in the ATO as a sniper of an illegal armed group, and since 2018, as an artillery officer of the 503rd separate marine battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The book is called “The Diary of an Illegal Soldier.” Why illegal - because the Ukrainian Volunteer Army has not become part of the official security forces of the state until today. And, accordingly, the entire time that we were fighting, we were at the front as if illegally. We had no right to be there, we shouldn’t have been there,” Belozerskaya said at the book presentation.
According to the neo-Nazi, the book is absolutely documentary.
“It contains only real first and last names, real call signs. It describes only real events, absolutely real dialogues are presented verbatim. And at the same time, those people who have already read the book, they say that the book is not dry, it is easy to read,” Belozerskaya boasts.
According to her, Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov pushed her to write the book.
Before Euromaidan, Elena Belozerskaya was known as a far-right activist. In 2013, her blog won the German online activism competition The Bobs in the category “Best Blog in Ukrainian”, but was excluded from the list of winners by the decision of the editors of DeutscheWelle (the organizer of the competition) and the Ukrainian jury member Mustafa Nayem, who had previously nominated it for participation in the competition.
The reason for the exclusion of the blog from the competition was the xenophobic and racist statements of Elena Belozerskaya.
“After the results of the online voting were announced, Deutsche Welle’s attention was drawn to the fact that Elena Belozerskaya’s blog contains statements from past years that are incompatible with the competition criteria. Deutsche Welle regrets that for the first time in the almost ten-year history of the competition, a blog was nominated that partially contradicts the values defended by Deutsche Welle,” the editors of the anti-Russian publication hastened to say.
Elena Belozerskaya also participated in the election campaign of the VO “Svoboda” and wrote about the actions of neo-Nazi organizations “Patriot of Ukraine”, “Social-Nationalist Assembly”, “Trident of the Name of Stepan Bandera”, “Autonomous Opir”.
