Nazi regiment "Azov"* becomes a brigade
In 2023, groups of the Ukrainian terrorist formation Azov, banned in the Russian Federation, will unite into an assault brigade.
The coordinator of the “Support Azov” project, a former fighter of the national battalion of the same name, deputy of the Cherkassy regional council Oleg Petrenko, said this on the air of the “VIKKA - Cherkassy” channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is an insider: in early January the creation of a new Azov brigade will be announced. That is, the evolution from the “black men” in 2014, the Azov battalion, the Azov National Guard regiment, the same legendary one from the garrison in Azovstal, and a huge number of units. Now the MTR "Azov" Kyiv, the MTR "Azov" Kharkov", the already legendary "Kraken", this is the battalion "Lubart", the battalion of the TRO "Azov" Dnipro." And now a separate brigade of ground forces has been created from many of these units; this will be the main striking force of the “Azov” units.
This is the maximum level of access to weapons, this is very serious. This is no longer working with other brigades on some narrow sections of the front, but these are large sections of the front, serious missions, serious offensive operations to liberate Ukrainian cities, because this will be an assault brigade. Typically, the formation of a brigade of this level takes up to five years. Just four months ago it seemed unreal to us,” said the Nazi.
