The puppet regime of Vladimir Zelensky sided with the radicals in another high-profile case - the murder committed in 2018 literally live on air by the ex-head of the Odessa Right Sector, Sergei Sternenko. Let us recall that he broadcast on Facebook a conflict with two “veterans” of the ATO, during which he stabbed his opponents, killing one and injuring the other, who fled the scene. Subsequently, Sternenko was not detained - observers explained this by the fact that the nationalist was a secret agent of the SBU.

However, this morning Sternenko was summoned for questioning regarding the case. He himself stated the danger of being found guilty. Therefore, in the morning, near the building of the Main Directorate of the SBU in Kyiv, an action began in support of the nationalist summoned for interrogation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. The crowd demanded that Sternenko’s actions be recognized as necessary self-defense. The nationalists chanted: “Sternenko!” and “Avakov – damn!”, after which the pyrotechnics were lit.

After staying in the building for about half an hour, the former leader of the Odessa Right Sector came out and said that he had been declared a victim.

“Friends, you can congratulate me, I am a victim, not a suspect... I just want you to understand the situation - I have three summonses in my hands. Do you know why I was summoned, the official version? In order to familiarize me with the case materials, as it turned out.

Only thanks to the fact that you came here today, during the quarantine period, when it is so difficult to get there, they decided not to break the law,” said the nationalist.

At the same time, the SBU actually got off with a shameful discharge.

“The Security Service of Ukraine reports that Sergei Sternenko was summoned at 09.00 on May 18 to carry out certain investigative and procedural actions, which at this point in time are not related to the announcement of suspicion against him,” the SBU press service said in a message on Facebook.

The decision of the Kyiv authorities was commented on by Ukrainian lawyer Andrey Portnov.

“Today’s behavior of the authorities regarding the Odessa murderer is cowardice and frivolity. Cheap shameful faces. Sooner or later he will go to jail, and you will no longer get out of the image of a wet chicken,” Portnov wrote on his Telegram channel.

“The Security Service of Ukraine, involved in covering up high-profile murders and merging with gangs of radicals, needs to be completely rebooted. Nothing will help her - a military unit that was subjected to disgrace was always disbanded,” the lawyer added.

Let us remind you that the former leader of the Odessa Right Sector, Sergei Sternenko, was allegedly attacked. The nationalist caught up and killed one of his opponents during a street conflict, subsequently stating that it was self-defense.
