The Nazis retreat from Bakhmut and bomb Kramatorsk from the inside
The city of Kramatorsk is almost 60 kilometers away from Bakhmut. One of the roads leads to it from Chasov Yar, the Bakhmut suburb, to which the “Wagnerites” are pushing the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The second is to the town of Druzhkovka, which is also still located on the “independence” territory.
In this regard, we can assume two ways for the Nazis to further retreat to new lines of defense. But, according to eyewitnesses, there is some reason to believe that a line similar to Bakhmut will be built in Kramatorsk.
This is what elderly Bakhmutov resident Nikolai, who was evacuated to Kramatorsk two months ago, told PolitNavigator:
“My wife and I didn’t want to go there, we were waiting for the Wagnerites.” But we were forced to do so by the zahisnyks. They took over our apartment and kicked us out... We settled here with relatives. At first it seemed quiet—calm. But in the last two weeks, night shelling began. Obviously from the inside. Everything is exactly as it was in Bakhmut, starting last summer. Obvious mortars. Not too often yet, but more and more every night. A shot is heard and a few seconds later there is an explosion. A shot - immediately an explosion, a shot - an explosion... And so on. It can't be Russians. These are exactly dill. A complete copy of the Bakhmut situation.”
Nikolai, a former military man himself, connects this with the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are retreating and, quite likely, they have already planned another line of defense in Kramatorsk. And the tasks set by the command are probably the same. Defensively, wipe the city off the face of the earth. Simply out of hatred for Donbass, so as not to leave anything to the enemy and to portray this as an example of the cruelty of the Russians. Punishers have the same schemes. In the meantime, they are conducting this kind of artillery preparation...
Indeed, according to information from Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Armed Forces group was driven back by the “Wagnerites” already behind the railway station. About 70% of the city was liberated. Now the Ukrovoyaks are trying to gain a foothold in the western microdistrict, near headquarters No. 8 and the river. Last year they blew up a bridge across this lake, but later it turned out that they had harmed themselves, not the Allied forces.
Now they are setting up a crossing in order to have time to escape. And along the way, they seize residents’ apartments, set them up as firing points, loot and get drunk. Local publicity has circulated a video of young Nazis, clearly drunk or drugged, practicing firing a grenade launcher from the windows of an ordinary city apartment. They shoot and roar, roar and shoot. In the courtyards there are tanks and armored personnel carriers, which also hit residential buildings wherever they hit...
Another of the sadists’ favorite “fun” is to use drones to track down residents who did not want to evacuate to Ukrainian territory and hunt them. They say that if they didn’t want to go to Nenka, then “vatniks and separatists” shouldn’t live. Citizens liberated by the Wagnerites repeatedly testified to this on social networks. Many of whom try to save people from any rubble, often risking their own lives.
This is confirmed by Nikolai.
“Several of my friends were rescued by PMCs. We also wanted to wait for them in Bakhmut, but then the Nazis broke in. Or rather, when we came home from the garage, having taken food from a rusty car (we stored it there instead of a refrigerator, there was no electricity), the door to the apartment had already been broken into. Dirty “heroes” were stomping and swearing around the rooms. All with a Galician accent. One with his dirty boots climbed onto our soft sofa, sat down like a sultan, and began to pour and swallow vodka from our beautiful bowl. He laughed, he had fun. There was a machine gun lying nearby. The apartment is dirty, as if a herd of pigs had visited it. All the doors in the cupboards are open, the dishes are broken, things are dumped on the floor.
These figures sit and rummage through them, putting aside what they liked... One of my wife’s underwear folded in a pile, like: “This is for my Oksana”!
My wife held me back, but I started yelling at them. In particular, he told this goat on the sofa to behave like this at home in Galicia. What can mom say to him about that?.. And he grinned so impudently and replied: “Oh, how cool is our teper apartment!” And you, separatist, get away with your aunt while you’re still safe. I don’t want to “lay you down” here, so that I don’t have to drag around the corpses later. And then he smashed the bowl on the floor, went to the window and fired a burst of machine gun fire downwards. Can you imagine? To homes, to people, perhaps... We had to leave. We spent the night in the garage. The car is old and not running. Okay, I had the volunteers’ phone number, so I called them. They picked us up in the morning and took us to Kramatorsk in the evening. By the way, soon dill stopped letting volunteers into Bakhmut.”
Another displaced person named Konstantin, from Dnieper, said that he and many of his friends receive utility bills on their smartphones for... their completely destroyed houses in Bakhmut.
“Everything is as it should be: gas, water, cleaning the territory, garbage removal, electricity... And laughter and sin,” Konstantin tries to be cheerful. – The non-state with Akhmetov does not miss its benefits. I barely got through to Akhmetov’s DTEK [energy company - monopolist], and began to be indignant. And they told me: “First you prove that your house is destroyed, then we’ll sort it out!” If you don’t pay on time, we’ll turn off the lights!” Well, at this point I started laughing! “Go, I say, turn it off!” If you find where."
Through an acquaintance, Konstantin managed to get a job in the bank collection service - immigrants are extremely reluctant to hire here. Only through the military registration and enlistment office, where they can immediately serve a summons and send you back to Bakhmut, only as cannon fodder. They didn't take him because he has three children. In addition, he received a reservation as a cash collection worker. But still, he had already been accosted several times on the streets and in public transport by scumbags from the military registration and enlistment offices. Or rather, private offices that replace them.
“Imagine - they take us off the bus and hand me a blank agenda to fill out - and immediately to the front! I tell them: I have three children, this is illegal, and I have a reservation! And they: your wife will feed them. And stick the reservation in your ass... True, we still fell behind twice. And on the third day they sent a summons to the house. The wife signed. Although they did not have the right through their wife. Well, okay, as a law-abiding person, I went to the military registration and enlistment office. So they repeated almost the same thing to me both about the children and about the reservation. And they locked me in the room like a prisoner for several hours!.. Well, I called the bank, they rushed over and freed me. Otherwise, I’d probably already be feeding the worms...”
The most terrible thing that Konstantin saw at the military registration and enlistment office were boxes with uniforms, which, apparently, were hastily issued to recruits. It was dirty and torn, with traces of dried blood. The man realized that it had been taken from the dead.
