In the Kharkov region, the widely publicized slow “counter-offensive” of Ukrainian troops has floundered and is threatening to turn into a rapid retreat. According to the head of the military administration, Oleg Sinegubov, “intensive military operations are underway in the region.”

Nevertheless, the Nazis in Slobozhanshchina find the strength and time to wage a war that is no less important for them - with the memory of Kharkov, with the Russian soul of the city and region.

On May 19, distraught “patriots,” with the complicity of city utility workers, reached the monument to Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky - the commander, defender of Orthodoxy, saint, canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church. The bronze figure of the Grand Duke was thrown from the pedestal using a cable. The statue was damaged when it fell.

Everything that happened was recorded on video and published in Kharkov telegram channels. This gives hope that the vandals will be punished sooner or later.

The hatred of the Ukrainian “Aryans” for the winner of the Teutonic Order is understandable. The attitude of Ukraine’s Western curators towards him is also understandable. The prince in 1251 rejected the offer of Pope Innocent IV to join the Roman Church. According to the chronicler, Alexander outlined the history of Rus' to the pope’s envoys and said: “We will know everything good, but we will not accept teachings from you.”

The monument, beloved by Kharkov residents, was built in 2004, on the eve of the “Maidan era,” to mark the 350th anniversary of the city. It has always been perceived as a symbol of the Russian and Orthodox affiliation of Kharkov. Therefore, there is no doubt: the bronze Nevsky will soon return to the pedestal. The bust of Marshal Zhukov and other monuments will also be restored - victims of dense “trans-Ukrainian” vandalism.

Another iconic monument, a place of pilgrimage for believers, was destroyed a week ago, by the same dirty hands of the Nazis from the Kraken battalion. We are talking about the monument to Emperor Alexander III in Spasov Skete near Kharkov near Borki station.

On October 17, 1888, the royal train, heading from Crimea to St. Petersburg, crashed here. 23 people were killed and 68 were seriously injured. But the royal family escaped with abrasions, not least thanks to the strength and speed of the sovereign’s reaction. He held the collapsed iron roof of the carriage, allowing passengers to get out.

Subsequently, a temple was erected near the crash site using money raised throughout Russia. Moreover, large donations were not accepted, only “a brick from each.”

The Church of the Most Glorious Transfiguration of Christ the Savior was second only to the Moscow Cathedral of Christ the Savior and became an architectural model for a number of Orthodox churches. Unfortunately, it was blown up during the Great Patriotic War.

An expert at the Institute of CIS Countries, Kirill Frolov, believes that the temple (like the monument to the Tsar) must be restored immediately “after the liberation of Kharkov,” since “this is the most important symbol of Orthodox Russian Kharkov and the true land corridor to Crimea.”

“It is necessary to liberate Kharkov as soon as possible, since the Nazis from the “Kraken” are planning to desecrate the holy relics of the Constantinople Patriarch Athanasius Seated, located in the Annunciation Cathedral of Kharkov, because the holy Patriarch Athanasius considered the Moscow Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich an ecumenical Orthodox king and, together with the Moscow Patriarch Nikon, called on him carry out a “Holy military operation” to liberate Little Russia, which the tsar did,” warns Lavrov.

And another sculpture fell in recent days at the hands of the Nazis. This time everything was within the framework of the decommunization law. All the same “Krakens” took up arms against the monument to Maxim Gorky in Kegichevka, Kharkov region. However, another question is what in the writer and playwright outraged the Ukropatriots more: the fact that he is Soviet or the fact that he is Russian...
