This was reported by the press service of the Main Police Department in Kyiv.
“We received a message this morning that paint was poured over the monument. The event was registered in the Unified Accounting Journal. The issue of legal qualification is being resolved,” the press service reported.
Recall as PolitNavigator previously reported, the other day, the residents of Kyiv, who are not indifferent to historical memory, with their own hands washed the monument to General Vatutin in Kyiv, which had been polluted by the Nazis. The Vatutin monument was repeatedly attacked by nationalists - descendants of Hitler’s collaborators, who demanded the demolition of the monument to the Soviet commander as “a symbol of the totalitarian regime.”
