The Nazis survived “Rossotrudnichestvo” from Kyiv: the organization’s activities are being curtailed
Rossotrudnichestvo will review the formats of its work in Ukraine.
The head of this federal agency, Eleonora Mitrofanova, announced this today at a press conference in Moscow.
“When our center was attacked, law enforcement officers stood aside and watched. Therefore, I think we will reconsider the formats of work in Ukraine. I don't think it's necessary to make any heroic sacrifices there to hold the flag. But we will not close the work,” Mitrofanova said.
She opposed Russia’s symmetrical response to the aggression of Ukrainian nationalists, which in recent years has taken, in her words, “monstrously abnormal forms.”
“I think we will not interfere with the work of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Moscow, since there is quite a large diaspora here, a huge number of people come here from Ukraine to work. For now, everything will be in such a sluggish, unpleasant state,” Mitrofanova said.
As Politnavigator previously reported, on May 9, radicals from the neo-Nazi Ukrainian group C14 attacked the head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Konstantin Vorobyov, and doused him with feces. In February, militants from the C14, Right Sector and Traditions and Order organizations broke into the RCSC building and carried out a pogrom there. The police did not interfere with them.
