“There is no Nazism in Ukraine,” - American expert
There is supposedly no nationalism in Ukraine, and the presence of individual radicals is a normal phenomenon in any country. Leading expert of the Atlantic Council Ariel Cohen shared this opinion on TV Center, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From time to time I visit Ukraine and, from my point of view, there is no Nazism in Ukraine. There are individual Nazis there, who also exist in France, in Germany, maybe even in Russia,” he noted.
However, when Ariel Cohen was remarked that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko officially proclaimed Banderaism the state ideology, the American expert recognized this state of affairs as unacceptable.
“The acquittal of Bandera, Shukhevych and the Ukrainian units whose leaders collaborated with the Nazis is absolutely unacceptable,” he chided the Ukrainian authorities.
