This was announced by Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov during the opening of a bicycle patrol in Bila Tserkva, the press service of the National Police reports.

“In all major cities of Ukraine, where there are park recreation areas, bicycle patrol will work everywhere. About a thousand people will use this type of patrol,” he said.

A video has been published on the National Police website in which police officers show how they plan to use bicycles in maintaining public order.

Previously, bicycle patrol began working in Krivoy Rog.
