The threat of a humanitarian catastrophe has emerged in the Serbian enclaves in northern Kosovo after Kosovo authorities banned the import of goods from Serbia there.
Political scientist Oleg Bondarenko stated this today at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There’s just physically nothing to eat there. Many Kosovo residents brought their own food products across the border. Now it’s blocked,” Bondarenko said.
Late last year, Pristina authorities unilaterally imposed a 100% import fee on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
