On September 19, over the official residence of the Czech presidents, Prague Castle, instead of the national flag traditionally flying over the roof, huge red underpants appeared. The underwear of a non-standard size - approximately human height - floated over the government building for some time, then it was removed, replacing the usual Czech flag.

It turned out that the unusual object was hoisted onto the flagpole by three young people from the public organization “Ztochoven”, which united unrecognized artists. “Ztohoven” enjoys quite a scandalous reputation, which, however, is understandable if you look at the latest prank of its participants. The purpose of the demonstrative action, as stated by the detainees, was to demonstrate attitude towards the current president of the Czech Republic and protest against his policies. In their opinion, Milos Zeman is a man who is not ashamed of anything. A photo and video report of the committed act of vandalism has already appeared on the website of an organization called “The President’s Dirty Laundry.” Hooligans face significant prison sentences for desecrating state symbols of the Czech Republic and large fines.

An internal investigation was initiated at Prague Castle, during which it became clear how the attackers managed to get into the residence, get onto the roof and remove the flag from the flagpole. It turned out that the young people entered the building under the guise of chimney sweeps, so their appearance on the roof did not arouse suspicion among anyone.

A spokesman for Czech President Jiri Ovcachek said the incident caused disgust and disappointment, since Prague Castle had not been desecrated once since the flag of Nazi Germany was raised over it in 1939. He expressed hope that the people who committed the act of vandalism will be punished in accordance with the law.
