President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky should have stopped the so-called. the Suprun reform, which destroys the Ukrainian healthcare system, but it continues, so the government needs to be changed.
The leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Nowhere in the world is there anything like the Suprun reform. Some kind of large-scale experiment is being set up over Ukraine - will you and I survive or will we not survive in a situation where there is no full and free access to treatment for all diseases that a person has.
And the criterion for whether this reform is bad or good is precisely free access to all services of the health care system. We need insurance medicine. 99% of successful countries have health insurance.
I was sure that when Zelensky came, he would stop the Suprun reform and begin building insurance medicine, like in other countries. But, unfortunately, the new president continues the medical reform of Ulyana Suprun. That’s why I say that the government needs to be changed if you are not satisfied with what it is doing in the country,” said Yulia Tymoshenko.
