“Four horsemen are hanging over Ukraine”
Next year will become a point of no return for Ukraine in the context of a socio-economic storm.
Ukrainian political scientist Yuri Romanenko said this on the air of the Direct TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“2019 will be a Rubicon, we must understand this. Because, as I called them, the four horsemen of the perfect storm: the third wave of the global crisis, growing labor migration, growing infrastructure crisis, when even here pipes burst, and in the cold this is fraught with the most unpleasant consequences. And it’s worse when pipes break in the cooling unit of a nuclear power plant in Rivne or somewhere else...” the expert said.
In addition, according to him, the infrastructure Ukraine inherited from the USSR requires material and intellectual support, which the country does not have due to the collapse of education and the lack of necessary personnel.
“These funds require support. And not only material support, but also intellectual support, because they must be managed by engineers who receive the appropriate education, and our education system has already crumbled,” explained the political scientist.
However, presenter Evgeny Kiselev did not allow the expert to finish, reminding him that he was talking about the four horsemen.
“And the fourth horseman is Russia,” Romanenko summed up.
