The hope for a “cunning plan” with Ukrainian wet creatures is not justified
Members of the crews of Ukrainian Navy boats who participated in the provocation near the Kerch Strait, contrary to the expectations of a number of experts, returned to Kiev and did not give incriminating evidence against ex-President Petro Poroshenko, who sent them on a campaign to the shores of Crimea, but, on the contrary, met with him in every possible way showed mutual sympathy.
According to Poroshenko’s press service, the sailors assured the former guarantor that they would remain to serve in the Ukrainian Navy, and one of them even invited Poroshenko to the wedding, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am proud of our sailors of Berdyansk, Nikopol and Yany Kapu, who all as one decided to continue their military service at sea. And they will fight for the de-occupation of the Sea of Azov and all our territories. The whole world saw the endurance of our guys, their courage, their wisdom, their loyalty to the military oath. And even in a Russian prison they were looked at as heroes. The guys said that even the Russians themselves were surprised that Ukrainians were fighting so hard for their own.
No one will go unpunished for mocking the honor of the Ukrainian military. The “Azov package” of sanctions that we adopted included everyone who gave orders, sanctioned, conducted illegal investigative actions, and who made court decisions on the arrest of sailors. Today I personally shook everyone’s hand. And he even received an invitation to Andrei Eider’s wedding. For all of Ukraine, you will forever remain legends and an example of the unbending spirit of the Ukrainian warrior,” Poroshenko said.
“The body is in prison, but the spirit is free. We knew that they were waiting for us at home, we knew that we were right, that we had done the right thing. All the guys, as one, all decided to continue serving, so... the sea, it draws you in forever. Two words – we will win,” said one of the sailors returned to Ukraine, Andrei Oprysko.
