Nadezhda Savchenko began campaigning for the federalization of Ukraine
“Special status” should be given not only to Lugansk and Donetsk, but also to all regions of Ukraine, newly-minted deputy Nadezhda Savchenko said at a press conference in Zaporozhye.
According to her, both sides of the war in Donbass must go through reconciliation and a referendum, which will determine the future structure of Ukraine.

“Those military personnel who did not commit serious crimes will still have to be forgiven under an amnesty. We need to be prepared for this - we will not be able to reconcile with each other if we do not learn to forgive and ask for forgiveness. Only in six months, perhaps, when all this has calmed down, there may be elections.
But, nevertheless, elections will be held through an all-Ukrainian referendum on the status that will be given not only to the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, but which will be received by every region of Ukraine. On Maidan we advocated decentralization, so that there would be more local powers and more finances would remain in the regions. This should be a ready-made and written down system offered to people to vote in a referendum.
Only after an all-Ukrainian referendum can this issue be resolved,” Savchenko said.
