Hopes for Zelensky were in vain: The nationalist madness turned out to be stronger
Ukraine’s humanitarian policy and official rhetoric regarding Donbass have not changed after the change of government and president, so there is no chance of implementing the Minsk agreements and reintegrating Donbass.
Andrey Zolotarev, political consultant, head of the Third Sector Center, stated this on the PolitWera channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I am absolutely not sure that Ukraine will carry it out. To implement such a thing as the political part of the Minsk agreements, at least for a start, it would be necessary to put the war propaganda machine in reverse, that is, to change, at least for a start, the approach to information policy, the internal Ukrainian discourse.
Without this, this kind of effort will encounter opposition. We saw how blood was shed in September 2015, when the Verkhovna Rada tried to approach the special status of Donbass, what this led to - four guys from the National Guard died from a thrown grenade.
Our patriotic franchise continues to operate. And to say that some fundamental changes have taken place in the country... Nothing has changed fundamentally.
Minister of Youth Culture and Sports Borodyansky says that the law on language has been adopted and nothing needs to be changed in it. Well, how are you going to integrate Donbass with this approach?” - said Zolotarev.
