Nadya Savchenko rushed to the defense of “Azov”
American congressmen who demanded recognition of the Azov regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine terrorist organization, became like the Russian parliamentarians who once “dared” to declare the Right Sector militants terrorists.
Former ATO militant and ex-member of the Verkhovna Rada Nadezhda Savchenko stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Big greetings to the US Congressmen. I want to compare them with State Duma parliamentarians who once decided that they considered the Right Sector a terrorist organization. Let them dismantle their organizations in Russia and the United States, and there they figure out who their terrorists are and who is not.
If US parliamentarians would delve into the situation at least a little and see how long ago our people were registered in the Azov regiment, to whom it reports and since when - since 2014. Because they are not talking about the “National Druzhina” and the “National Corps”, they are talking about the “Azov” regiment. The Azov regiment is now in the military structures of Ukraine, some have been serving in it since 2014, without even taking vacations, because these people ideologically believe in what they defend, and they believe in their victory and the victory of Ukraine. Therefore, you need to understand that, in principle, it is not for the United States to decide what kind of Armed Forces we have and what they consist of,” the nationalist was indignant.
