It would be more logical for Russia to help sanctioned Iran, rather than rich Italy, in the fight against coronavirus.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky said this via video link from the State Duma on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We don’t need to provide any help to anyone, we must save everything we have for ourselves. You can help Iran - it has the most difficult situation, help in the sense that sanctions are lifted from it. Iran has excellent doctors, but it cannot take money, all its money is abroad.
But there was no need to send it to Italy, they have money, they are accomplices in imposing sanctions against Russia, and we are meeting them halfway,” Zhirinovsky said.
