“We need to put more pressure” – the wounded Medvedchuk becomes Zelensky’s worst dream
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will not limit himself to closing TV channels owned by Viktor Medvedchuk, and will be forced to take more radical steps against Medvedchuk, including through the courts.
Political expert Andrei Kucher stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, the expert is somehow sure that the majority of the electorate should like the destruction of Medvedchuk.
“According to the information that I have, Medvedchuk is trying to establish communication with Zelensky, but he is refusing such communication at this stage. The behind-the-scenes process to agree on these channels is underway.
We must clearly understand that if Zelensky does not continue this policy and bring it to its logical conclusion, then this whole process will hit him even more and will hit him with a huge anti-rating. People see the president’s first step, and if they don’t see court decisions and some kind of punishment, then this will be a blow to the ratings for Zelensky and Servant of the People.
And we see that the president wants to revive his rating - social research already shows that the president is already in second place,” said Andrei Kucher.
