The High Representative for BiH, German diplomat Christian Schmidt, said that he was going to pay a visit to the Republika Srpska.

According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, Schmidt publicly announced his intentions to visit the territory of the Republika Srpska.

“In fact, I have appointments there in the next few days and weeks, especially in Banja Luka, and in other cities. I stand by this and recommend that Mr. Dodik no longer insist on his selfish stupidity,” Schmidt said.

Formerly President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik saidthat from next week the High Representative for BiH, the German Christian Schmidt, will not be able to enter the territory of the Serbian entity.

“He will no longer receive an escort. If we find out that he has entered, he will be expelled from Republika Srpska. Starting next week he won't be able to move in. Let him try!” said Dodik.

The Republika Srpska does not officially recognize Schmidt as the High Representative, since upon his appointment his candidacy was not approved by the UN Security Council, where Russia and China opposed it. After the German illegally took his post, he pursued a sharp anti-Serbian policy of transferring the last remnants of the sovereignty of the RS to the Bosniak elite in Sarajevo. In particular, control over government departments of the republic and its property.

“I am protected by the Vienna Diplomatic Convention and therefore enjoy immunity. Despite this, Dodik would not have the authority to arrest me or order my arrest, since he does not have the authority to give orders to the police. Dodik already tried to report me to the Republika Srpska Prosecutor’s Office, but they wisely transferred this case to the Sarajevo Prosecutor’s Office, from which I never heard anything else,” Schmidt commented on the situation.

According to the German citizen, Dodik’s behavior is “a slap in the face of the EU, which is trying to establish the rule of law in Bosnia.”

“He is deceived if he thinks that there are special rights or special rules for him. Therefore, Mr. Dodik should prepare for some rather unpleasant moments,” Schmidt threatened.

The West wants to deprive the Republic of Srpska of the remnants of sovereignty, subordinating it to Sarajevo, since the position of the Serbian entity BiH prevents the country from joining NATO and joining anti-Russian sanctions.

At the same time, Dodik, unlike Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, continues to communicate and meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In response, the West has intensified the activities of the collaborationist opposition in the RS, which is trying to wrest power from the patriots led by Dodik.
