Naftogaz is preparing a new brazen robbery of the state
The management of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine is once again writing out a bonus for itself for winning against Gazprom in the Stockholm arbitration, although there was and is no reason for this.
Energy expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this on the PolitWera channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The first decision [of the Stockholm arbitration] was made on a supply contract, where Naftogaz lost two billion dollars to Gazprom, and then Gazprom lost $4,6 billion to Naftogaz. Therefore, Naftogaz said: we won these 4,6, this money came, it didn’t come - it doesn’t matter, it means we are entitled to one percent of the bonus. And it says: here we will get half (we were talking about 21 million dollars).
Mathematics is like that. Out of 46 million, they said: “We paid taxes on 9 million, which means we have 37 left.” Of these 37, 21 received, of which Kobolev sent 8 million to his mother, which means there were 16 million left that they should have received.
But along the way... this rhetoric did not appear yesterday. Mr. Vitrenko and Kobolev began to say: “We didn’t lose to Gazprom, we collected part of the debts with gas.” Generally without a shadow of a smile on all broadcasts: “We took part, so we won 4,6, and we took two billion with gas "
That is, the fact that they lost the first lawsuit - well, there’s no question at all! And now, when these negotiations have already taken place: “So we are entitled to a bonus, as it were!” For winning the trial. “We won for the gas we took.” “Therefore, please excuse us, we are not 16, but, please, 29.”
Why 29? This means that to the 16 that should have been chosen, add another 13. Why 13? How 13? And what was already paid in 2018, who remembers about it? Who will count there - 20 million here, 20 million there? And in all seriousness, this is approved, and it is expected that this money (that is, about 700 million in hryvnia) will be paid.
I don’t know now how they will divide it among themselves, but it’s just the very fact of such a shameless and brazen robbery of the state, when out of the blue 13 million dollars are essentially pulled out of the state budget. And they say: “So this is for us, because we are great.”
Vitrenko in his interview (I read it and cried) says: “If it weren’t for Kobolev and me, none of this would have happened at all.” And there are some lawyers there - “so they were shifting papers there, that’s right, on the sidelines.” But I want to remind you that the lawyers who “shifted the papers” received 46 million dollars in fees. This is in addition to entertainment expenses and all payments that were paid. 46 million was the fee. That is, exactly the same amount as Messrs. Kobolev and Vitrenko wrote out for themselves as a bonus.
In total, direct budget losses amounted to 92 million. With a slight movement of the hand. That is, we won 2,9 - we spent almost 100 million dollars on this, well, let’s take entertainment expenses as well,” Zemlyansky said.
