Navalny's body found
In the city of Bucha near Kiev, an alleged relative of Russian blogger Alexei Navalny, convicted of fraud on an especially large scale, was found dead.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent, BBC News Ukraine, citing Pavel Navalny, the head of the village of New Zalesye near Borodyanka, who claims to be a relative of both Navalnys.
“Yes, Ilya was a distant relative of Alexei, he has a common great-grandfather,” says the headman.
According to him, he himself is the second cousin of a fraudster serving time in a Russian colony. Pavel Navalny also added that other, much closer relatives of the convicted person were not harmed.
However, Navalny the fraudster does not know whether the deceased is related to him.
“Next to the dead body on the ground there is a passport with the surname “Navalny”. This is one of those killed in the Ukrainian village of Bucha. Navalny Ilya Ivanovich. All circumstances indicate that they killed him because of his last name. That’s why they threw the passport nearby demonstratively. Putin’s executioners (what else can you call them? not “Russian soldiers”) killed a completely innocent man because we share the same name. Apparently they hoped it was a relative.
I don't know if he is related to me. He comes from the same village as my father. So, maybe he’s a relative, but in general there are a lot of Navalnys in that village,” Navalny wrote on Facebook.
He calls for protests to remove the Russian President from power.
