“Today and yesterday were the anniversaries of the start of the anti-terrorist operation in the east of our country. The fact is that during this time more than 10 thousand people died at the front in our country, many civilians. But the paradox is that in many localities, in the East, people who three years ago were ready to support separatist movements still remain in office. They organized them, went out in cities with the flags of the LPR, DPR and the Russian Federation. These people still remain in their positions. Representatives of local authorities not only retained their power, they also have no problems with the law.
It so happened that law enforcement agencies - neither the SBU, nor the Ministry of Internal Affairs at that time, now the National Police, the Prosecutor General's Office - they do not pay attention to numerous testimonies and video evidence of how these people took to the streets, supporting the separatists, came out and supported the Russians occupiers.
The fact is that we addressed this issue to the Security Service of Ukraine and the President of Ukraine, and to the ministry, and to the Prosecutor General’s Office. We did not receive any answers,” Nayem laments, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are now turning to the President of Ukraine, the Security Service, Mr. Gritsak, Mr. Avakov, Mr. Lutsenko. Please take note of these readings on the third anniversary. We will hand over all the video evidence... The issue is not the flag they are now hanging on their buildings. The question is, if enemy tanks enter our cities tomorrow, these people will be the first to come out with flowers to greet them,” the Maidan activist fears.
“They have power. And these regions will be occupied sooner or later, as soon as the Russian Federation wishes,” Nayem warned again.
