It is noted that Danylyuk plans to come to Washington this week for negotiations with the IMF so that Ukraine can receive another tranche by the end of this year, the prospects for which are now very vague.
At the same time, the Minister of Finance said that Ukraine is ready to discuss any questions that the IMF might have regarding the pension reform adopted by Verkhovna Rada. According to him, all these issues “can be easily resolved.”
“I can say that we value our cooperation, we value our commitment to the program. This is the position of the government and the prime minister... Our goal is to successfully complete the program by 2019,” said Danilyuk.
As PolitNavigator reported, this year Ukraine expected to receive 4,5 billion dollars from the IMF, but in the end it received only a billion.
