This was announced by the head of the SBU Administration, Alexander Tkachuk.
“Today, content advertising in social networks is actively financed from Russia... Russian agents became more active on the eve of the celebration of the events of 2014 in Ukraine. And again calls for violent action are heard from the Russian Federation. We do not have mechanisms that would enable intelligence agencies to block content on the Internet. Any person enjoys freedom of speech in Ukraine, but at the same time the Russian Federation is trying to manipulate this right of Ukrainians. Unfortunately, “sensational” appeals are very often used to manipulate the consciousness of citizens,” the official said.
He added that the SBU is working to identify coordinators of such messages on social networks.
Let us remind you that a number of nationalist and neo-Nazi organizations, including “ATO veterans” and participants in the events on the Maidan, planned mass protests against the Poroshenko regime under various slogans for February 20 and 22 in Kyiv. In this regard, in Kyiv they again started talking about the threat of a “third Maidan”.
