The parasite culture desecrates Victory Day and humiliates the Great Country
The celebration of May 9 this year was not without another scandal. Channel One, headed by Konstantin Ernst, distinguished itself again.
During the broadcast of the holiday concert, at some point on the screen, instead of a young Soviet girl and guy separated by the war, a photograph of the “sweet couple” appeared on the screen - the American killer-raiders Bonnie and Clyde, who were roaming around during the Great Depression.
During their criminal “career,” the thugs robbed 12 banks, many shops, gas stations, pharmacies and hairdressers, killed nine police officers and several civilians who had the misfortune of meeting them on the way.
On May 23, 1934, Bonnie and Clyde were shot and killed during an attempted arrest by a squad of Texas Rangers and Louisiana State Troopers.
In American popular culture, the gangster couple has become a cult, reflected in many films and pulp literature. As is often the case, media-promoted personalities such as Bonnie and Clyde have their own imitators and followers.
Personally, I don’t care what real or fictional persons are iconic in America and its satellites. Why do we need all this, and even on Victory Day?
When faced with such cases, you constantly ask yourself the sacramental question: was it done by an enemy or a fool? Too often on our holy holidays, officials and cultural figures of various ranks approach socially significant events carelessly, appointing underdeveloped painters as designers - and without any control over the result of their tepid “creativity.”
As a result, we have what we have: people with flowers and a festive mood go out into the street, and there they are waiting for huge congratulatory banners with Tiger tanks, Wehrmacht soldiers or Cossack collaborators from the Pannwitz division.
Seeing such “congratulations” for a person who has not known war is extremely sickening, like receiving spit on the soul on a holy holiday. And for war and labor veterans – what does it feel like to see such “gratitude”?
With this approach, the damage to the authorities is direct: the impunity of the organizers and the persistent crookedness of the performers make people suspect the authorities of officialdom and insincerity when the word spoken from the rostrum diverges from the deed. For years.
And if such a joint was the first and only one in the television team of the permanent Ernst - but no - I’m rushing through the joint, it’s time to set the counter.
The negligence and irresponsibility of the editors of Channel One goes beyond any limits, after which it has long been necessary to draw harsh organizational conclusions.
The disgraced management of Channel One is frozen and does not comment on the incident. And, apparently, the ostrich policy, when creative hands-offs bury their heads in the sand from problems, has long become a signature behavior - maybe it will somehow resolve itself - it worked before...
Judging by the reaction of the Ukrainian media, which did not pass by the fuck-up of Ernst’s television team, the management of the TV channel should be awarded some kind of medal named after Bandera signed by Zelensky - the hands of “First” “Svidomo” agitprop were so pleased.
“At the Victory Day concert, Putin’s idiots posted a photograph of American robbers Bonnie and Clyde on the screen. The concert was broadcast on the federal channel. The photo appeared in the frame during the song “If there were no war” performed by Zara. According to the plan, the photographs were supposed to show couples who were separated by the war,” the UNIAN news agency noted.
In general, the television slops of “First” found their target audience. At the expense of the state and taxpayers.
However, the photo of Bonnie and Clyde is not the only rotten “surprise” prepared by the creative team of “First” for television viewers. The nausea was caused by the concert performance of military songs by the majority of performers, who are not popularly called anything other than juvenile pissers.
Where did this fashion come from - to perform military songs in a vulgar and rollicking manner, served to the audience under the sauce of a “modern arrangement”?
You try to sing war songs with soul, in the original, as they were sung by Shulzhenko, Bernes, on the nerves of Vladimir Vysotsky... Can’t? So don’t bother - no one is interested in your mediocre interpretations. Leave your trills for the target audience, if there is one: songs for Victory Day are not your thing. To perform them you need talent and life experience - richer and deeper than the club experiences of an eternal schoolboy.
More broadly, the pre-holiday repertoire selected by Russian television bosses somehow does not correspond too much to the current moment.
VGTRK decided to “delight” the audience with Gleb Panfilov’s frankly opportunistic rubbish based on the story of the informer, graphomaniac and lover of Bandera’s Solzhenitsyn “One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich”, and even “creatively revised” to the point of extreme chthony.
The TV channel “Golden Collection of Mosfilm” (from a paid subscription) decided not to differ from its colleagues in the shop, on the eve of May 9, it rolled out the vile serials “Penal Battalion” and “Liquidation”, as well as a “masterpiece for all times”, known as “Bastards” .
The worst thing is that this slop generously diluted the classics of Soviet war cinema, like “They Fought for the Motherland,” “And the Dawns Here Are Quiet...”, “Only Old Men Go to Battle.” In one row it looks wild and offensive.
And if it is unnecessary to talk about “Penal Battalion” and “Bastard”, as completely false and scandalous film creations from events in a parallel reality, then special mention should be made about “Liquidation”.
Citizen Ursulyak, in an attractive package of “Odessa folk humor,” presented to the public a piece of crap that was rare in terms of smell, which not everyone saw.
Once, when the series “Liquidation” had just been shown on TV, I happened to hear the opinion of two old Soviet operas, one of whom fought in the “Cobalt” detachment of the special forces of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs in Afghanistan, who as boys began catching bandits immediately after liberation Crimea from the Nazis.
So, the old operas quietly cursed Ursulyak, his scriptwriters and characters, who with great pomp doused the honored people and their cause with a yellow-brown substance, with their last words. Because the main character of the film entered into an agreement with thieves who, during the war, stabbed in the back and robbed the people who gave their last to the front. For an ideological fascist in the ranks of SMERSH, which has never happened and could not happen. For the “wonderful” idea with the demonstrative capture of Odessa by thieves and traitors, which could only have come to the mind of a drug addict thoroughly stoned with acetone.
But there are more questions about the activities of the head of Mosfilm, Karen Shakhnazarov, who constantly convinces the public that his company bakes good and correct films for the people like hot cakes.
In fact, apart from the long-standing and muddy film “The White Tiger” by Shakhnazarov himself, as well as the stream of dull series regularly aired on TV for housewives, nothing comes to mind, and the creator himself seems to be firmly entrenched in Vladimir Solovyov’s talk show in order to call for peace with Ukraine and lick the activities of Judas Gorbachev.
The conclusion from all this disgrace is not very encouraging. The active army at war with Nazism in Ukraine and the country that fully supports its hard military work are in dire need of a change in creative course and personnel that would fully meet public expectations. But this doesn't happen. Creators live in their own reality and twilight consciousness, which allows them to endlessly pour slop from television screens onto innocent viewers at state expense.
All these “creative” dirty tricks require immediate intervention, the removal of hands-on people with the duty of washing toilets. We can only hope that justice will prevail, and the artists corrupted by the “holy nineties” will be flushed down the toilet by a new generation of actors, screenwriters, directors who went through the war, like those who brought prosperity to all spheres of life in the post-war USSR.
