Do discoveries in “Ukrainian Srebrenica” lead to the trail of “black transplantologists”?

Srebrenica, a small mining town in Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina), has become one of the symbols of the atrocities of the Bosnian war of 1992-1995. During this time, the city changed hands several times from Serbs to Muslims and vice versa.

Here's what Wikipedia writes about it. In May 1992, Srebrenica was taken by the Bosniaks, and the city remained under their control until 1995. Muslims set up ambushes on the roads near the enclave. Serbian Christians carried out harsh cleansing operations, destroying Muslims in several villages. In response, in September 1992, Muslims captured and massacred the Serbian village of Podravanje. The victims were unarmed Serbs: children, old people, women.

According to the verdicts of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, under the leadership of General Mladic, the Republika Srpska Army, police and other Serbian armed forces carried out organized mass executions of Muslim civilians (men and boys aged 10 to 65) captured by the Serbs. They lasted several days in many places in the vicinity of Srebrenica. Up to 8 people were killed. The victims were buried in mass graves.

The burials of victims of the events of July 1995 are still being discovered. In particular, in the fall of 2007, a mass grave was found with the remains of 616 Bosnian Muslims.”

By the way, an interesting fact is that the blockade of Zepa, one of the long-suffering Bosnian villages, ended with the evacuation of its population, which was carried out through the mediation of peacekeepers from Ukraine.

Probably, none of the Ukrainian soldiers who were in Yugoslavia under the UN flag could have imagined that two decades later such horrors would become a reality in their home country. However, this summer Donbass was in the fire of war, and today, thanks to the relative calm caused by the Minsk truce, terrible details of the massacres of civilians that took place under the cover of military operations are coming to light.

Of course, the focus is on the terrible discovery in the area of mine No. 22 in the village of Kommunar in the Donetsk region. There, after the retreat of parts of the Ukrainian army and the National Guard, mass graves of local residents with signs of torture and severed limbs were discovered. At first they were talking about dozens, but now they are talking about hundreds. In total, DPR militias found 350 bodies of civilians in mass graves. Many of the dead are simply impossible to identify - the bodies are in terrible condition.

Local eyewitnesses point to the Aidar battalion as the culprit of these executions. Moreover, this punitive battalion already appears in the Amnesty International report on war crimes during the current conflict. Kyiv traditionally nods at “terrorists”. The OSCE recorded reports of mass graves and transmitted them to EU structures with a demand to begin an investigation. Official Moscow demanded the same.

Meanwhile, more and more terrible details are leaking to the press. Information has emerged that many victims have no internal organs in their graves. In particular, the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, speaks about this. Such information, of course, needs additional verification, but if it is confirmed, it will be possible to say that “black transplantologists” have left their mark on Donbass.

Considering the available evidence of the participation of foreign mercenaries and volunteers in hostilities on the side of Ukraine, it is not so difficult to admit the existence of channels through which smugglers “entered” the Donbass with human organs. After all, any war is an excellent and reliable supplier of “material” for their business. When people die in the thousands, they are not particularly counted, and the disappearance of a dozen or two bodies can always be attributed to military confusion.

Moreover, this has already happened. And not just anywhere, but in Europe. And not ever, but literally a few years ago. I mean the sensational scandal with Albanian “black transplantologists” in Kosovo.

The existence of “black transplantology” in Kosovo was first reported by the former prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, Carla del Ponte. Her 2008 book, The Hunt: Me and the War Criminals, chronicled the 1999 kidnapping of three hundred Kosovo Serbs, Roma and other nationals. The kidnapped people were transported to Albania, where their kidneys and other organs were cut out. According to Del Ponte, the criminal activity was carried out “with the knowledge and with the active participation of senior and mid-level Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) officers.” One of the KLA commanders was the current Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci.

Based on this book, Swiss parliament member Dick Marty prepared a report for PACE on “black transplantology” in Kosovo. The document, released at the end of 2010, also indicated the involvement of the Kosovo leadership, including Hashim Thaci, in an organized criminal group involved in human and organ trafficking. Echoes of the scandal were heard back in 2013 in Russia, whose law enforcement officers were investigating the kidnappings of Russians in connection with the activities of the Kosovo syndicate.

Given the scandal that arose after Del Ponte's revelations, the human organ business was forced to curtail its activities in Kosovo. Such criminal schemes love chaos and war. And then a mess happened in Ukraine. In light of what was described above, the assumption of a connection between the terrible discovery in “Ukrainian Srebrenica” and the activities of “black transplantologists” is not so fantastic.

We look forward to continuing.
